Body Hack — Understanding Overtech Upgrades

Replace body parts with Overtech gear and understand how equipment changes your combat options.

Upgrade an undead body

Body Hack lets Davy install Overtech gear in his body. Official descriptions explain that this equipment can improve stats and provide active or passive skills. Your equipment therefore affects your available combat options.

The game's premise supports different approaches to combat, but the official overview does not establish a universal best build. This guide avoids invented stat caps or item rankings.

Inspect an upgrade before committing

  • Read the gear description and its requirements in-game.
  • Check which action or skill the gear changes.
  • Try the new option alongside a familiar Style.
  • Change one piece at a time while learning how it works.

The shopping mall is Davy's home base, and allies there support progression. Follow the tutorial for the current upgrade interface and any costs.

Pair gear with a Style

Style Eat supplies monster forms and abilities. Body Hack supplies body modifications. Start by learning what each does, then experiment with combinations during your own dives.

For your opening session, follow the beginner guide. The demo briefing explains what can be tried before launch.
